Seamless steel pipe NGP st. 20 / 09G2S GOST 8732-78 is a type of rolled pipe that is made without welds, which gives them high strength and resistance to external factors. Unlike welded pipes, which are produced by folding and welding a sheet or strip of metal, seamless pipes are made from a single metal billet (ingot or die) that goes through the process of rolling, hot or cold drawing, and other types of deformation.
The production process of seamless pipes includes several stages:
